At Shaolin Kung Fu of Central Texas, we believe that by time a child reaches the age of 8, he or she is ready to learn kung fu. Rather than running a children's program that teaches simplistic techniques, we teach the same kung fu sets and methods in our kid's program, only at a slower pace and with a lower degree of intensity. Once our kid's graduate into the adult program, they are able to immediately join their fellow students on the same material.
 
Our program is also distinct for its focus on the family as a cohesive unit. While our classes are separated into different groups, we join together at many occasions, and we all interact with each other as one large, kung fu family.
